We hope everyone had a fun and safe Thanksgiving and ate more than their fare share.  Decided to put up a little teaser for everyone.  Our test pilot Dameon has sent us some sweet pics of his Nightster with our sample Black Chrome and it looks just as cool as we imagined it would.  These should be ready for purchase after the start of the new year as we are waiting on a new job of Sportster and Softail Backrests to be released to the floor.

Wow time sure does fly.  Well its that time of the year where us crazy northern riders are fighting the cold and parking the bikes until the freakin spring time while the rest of the country gets to tear it up still.  Anyways, the Touring backrests are on the way back from the chromer so they should be ready to ship next week.  We have also just finished our 2009 catalog and once I figure out this internet machine I'll try to make it available for download.  If you can't wait or want a copy for your bathroom reading email your address to jatuccio@us-trans.com or call 866.872.6876 and I'll get one sent to ya. 

Side note: Work continues on the Victory Vegas Backrests which are slated for release at the start of the new year.

News Flash

Sit down, pic the bugs out of your teeth and check this out

Black Chrome will be available on Haulen Ass Backrests.  Thats right.  A sample is now out tearing up miles of ashphault catching peoples attention.  It's not an actual black so don't get the wrong idea... it is actually dark in certain lights and a dark graphite in others.  It gives the chrome a real deep look.  Its hard to capture the true look of it in a photo but below is the sample before we sent it out.  Our test piolet will be sending us photos with it mounted on his Nightster soon so check back for those.

Another new update to the Haulen ass line is going to be our touring backrests.  They are pretty much the same as our other backrest, just made to fit the Glides and Kings.  These are still about a mounth out but below is a prototype we made.  Check back for further updates on these.  And no, we dont have any for the driver.

Hey there you crazy critters here's a quick update on whats new with Haulen Ass.   We are getting samples of Black Chrome on our backrests.  As soon as we get them in our hands we'll get images up asap.  Our first sample is going to be a sportster verson so you sporty guys send us pics of you bike with the OL on it and you could end up getting our first backrest for free.  Of course you would have to let us know what you think of it and send us pics.  I guess there is really no such thing as a free lunch but this is pretty dang close.  Alright summer is pretty much over so get off the computer and go ride before the weather goes to heck.

 Im pretty sure all you motor heads have already been on the HD site and picked through each and every bike on the site for their 2009 line up.  It seems that in general people were expecting a little bit more out of the designs and the return of the Duce.  The Dyna crowd has had a lot to say about the 09 Street Bob, most of which is focused on the now grey motor. (Looking not so popular).  Easy to judge on the internet so we'll see what the critics have to say after they see them on the street.

Also, the newest member of the Harley family was shown in the new Batman Movie, Dark Night.  You guessed it, the MV Agusta.  Too bad Harley didn't purchase the company sooner to them making the movie or they could have gotten a boat load more publicity.  Oh well.

So it seems that Harley Davidson has pulled the trigger and bought out MV Agusta, makers of high quality Itailian sport bikes.  The goal is for Harley to get a better foot hold on the European market which has been growing at an impressive rate the last few years.  Check out the links below for information on the purchase and the MV Agusta Line Up
